I'm going to be published...again!

When I started writing just a couple of years ago, I knew I wanted to write on a continuous basis. I wanted to submit magazine articles, contribute to the collecting community, and just help spread solid, well researched material. When I told my editor Nic over at Headstamp publishing that I was interested in writing for magazines, he told me "Usually people will write for magazines first, and then get a book deal, you're doing it backwards".

I'm pleased to announce that my article on the Japanese Type 26 revolver will be published in the June issue of SAM Wapenmagazine. SAM is a firearms magazine based out of Arnhem, Holland. The magazine is published in Dutch, so even I probably wont be able to make sense of it once it's in print, but who cares! I'm still being published in a magazine. This is another great boost, and definitely keeps the writing fire stoked under me. I have a few other articles that I will be submitting to them shortly, and (hopefully) I will be published in US based magazines in the future.
